A six-storey residential block of twelve apartments, planned around a single core with parking at grade and a shared roof terrace.

About this design

A development-scale scheme for investors building rental stock in a city centre. Twelve apartments stack over six floors, served by one lift and stair core, which keeps the circulation area low and the lettable floor area high.

Each floor carries two units, a two-bedroom and a three-bedroom, both with their own balcony and a utility terrace off the kitchen. Ground level is given over to covered parking, a generator and water treatment room, and a small reception lobby.

The top floor opens onto a shared roof terrace, which gives the building an amenity that comparable blocks in the area do not offer and lifts the achievable rent per unit.
